This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee compensation administration teams for SIRVA’s global mobility clientele.
• Act as the primary contact for Compensation Services Specialists regarding daily compensation tasks.
• Develop global cost projections, assignment letters, compensation worksheets, and year-end reports.
• Collaborate with payroll teams in both client home and host locations.
• Reconcile payrolls on a monthly and periodic basis.
• Gather worldwide compensation data.
• Engage in all stages of the compensation process, including troubleshooting, implementing new processes, and ongoing service delivery.
• Foster internal and external relationships and present findings to stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings and conference calls as necessary.
• Collaborate across business units to ensure high-quality payroll services and address issues.
• Meet goals for operational efficiency, productivity enhancement, revenue generation, and client retention.
• Track productivity, SLA metrics, and FTE allocation.
• Participate in budgeting and revenue reconciliation activities.
• Recruit and interview potential candidates.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage ongoing performance.
• Mentor, coach, and support the development of team members.
• Encourage open communication, trust, respect, and a positive work environment.
• Ensure that standardized operational processes and practices are established.
• Prepare team members for current responsibilities and future career opportunities.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Required experience in an accounting firm or other professional organization focused on the calculation and reporting of expatriate compensation.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience managing compensation and/or payroll teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting information in a clear and professional manner.
• Ability to produce innovative and thoughtful solutions.
• Capacity to learn from errors and implement preventative measures.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Team player with the ability to consider diverse perspectives and delegate responsibilities efficiently.
• Cultural awareness and the ability to function effectively in varied business and cultural settings.
• Proficient in documenting and training process flows within a high-volume environment.
• University or college degree in business or a related field is preferred.
