Manager, Career Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance Team Efficiency and Quality: Ensure the effective daily conversion of interviews, hires, and placements while monitoring and improving team performance to meet established quality benchmarks.

• Student and Alumni Engagement Management: Oversee communication, forecasting, and support for UMA’s current students, recent graduates, and alumni. Provide tailored guidance to assist them in their career journeys.

• Graduate Career Guidance: Support graduates throughout the entire interview and hiring process with various Allied Healthcare employers. Prepare graduates for interviews, facilitate their attendance, assist with job offers and onboarding, and provide support as they transition into their new roles.

• Customer Service and Relationship Development: Manage high-level customer service, re-engagement, and de-escalation calls when necessary. Build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders, including students, alumni, and employers.

• Team Member Call Oversight: Conduct regular coaching sessions, monitor calls, and offer personalized development for all assigned team members.

• Lead with Empathy: Mentor, coach, and develop team members, promoting a culture of wellness, recognition, and engagement. Meet consistently with direct reports in both one-on-one and group settings to provide feedback and foster a positive workplace culture.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Background in recruiting, career services, employment assistance, or sales.

• Competencies – leadership skills, ability to multitask, capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment, strong interpersonal communication, and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in verbal and written English communication.

• Commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

• Basic computer literacy to effectively navigate and utilize necessary technology for the role.
