This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
• Serve as the main contact for all business development activities related to the Asia packaging and label platform.
• Enhance the understanding of services and solutions available through the Asia packaging and label platforms among colleagues and clients.
• Collaborate closely with National Sales, Strategy, and Business Development teams to formulate and implement a process for evaluating new opportunities for strategic and tactical compatibility.
• Accountable for tracking Packaging & Label Opportunities in Salesforce to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information provided while promoting Salesforce as the singular source of sales pipeline data.
• Identify and assess market trends, customer requirements, and the competitive environment.
• Investigate and assess new business prospects, including current and potential clients, partnerships, and market segments.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with sales representatives.
• Supervise the creation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients and partners.
• Ensure that all proposals are consistent with the company’s strategic goals and value propositions.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and messaging.
• Partner with senior management to outline and prioritize business development initiatives.
• Lead efforts to resolve complex challenges; apply advanced analytical thinking to make informed decisions and discover innovative sales solutions.
• Anticipate and comprehend customer/account needs, feedback, and concerns, and articulate solutions effectively.
• Employ a high level of judgment, discretion, and creativity to influence customers/accounts toward a favorable perspective and purchasing decision.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• MBA is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in the packaging sector, specifically in folding cartons.
• Knowledge of Packaging including Folding Carton, Rigid Box, Pulp Tray, Inserts, Corrugate, POP Displays, and Retail & Industrial Packaging.
• At least 3 years of experience in business development, contracts, licensing, or marketing.
• Experience collaborating with Global Brands and marketplaces.
• Familiarity with the Asia (China & SEA) packaging, labeling, and supply chain dynamics.
• Understanding of the competitive landscape and challenges in Asia (China & SEA).
• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers and OEMs.
