Manager, Business Analytics – Non-Prime Installment Loan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead the development and refinement of risk management policies and standards that support the non-prime installment product.

• Convert policy intentions into actionable operational procedures and control requirements.

• Create a streamlined governance schedule for policy reviews and updates, while maintaining a dynamic policy repository complete with change logs.

• Design and execute a monitoring framework for the new product, incorporating risk appetite metrics and early-warning indicators.

• Prepare a recurring reporting package for the leadership team and develop self-service dashboards for everyday decision-making.

• Assist in product design decisions by analyzing trade-offs related to risk, approval rates, unit economics, and customer experience.

• Act as the main risk analytics partner to the Product and Engineering teams during development, ensuring that risk requirements are integrated into workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an analyst, data science, or consulting capacity.

• At least 3 years of experience in credit risk analytics.

• Background in the consumer financing sector, including areas like credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, BNPL, or related fields.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python for data analysis purposes.

• Excellent attention to detail paired with robust problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to develop a strategic agenda and effectively implement it.

• Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic entrepreneurial setting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
