This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +4 more states.
• Oversee a team that collaborates with various business sectors to uncover data-driven inquiries and establish strategic initiatives.
• Advocate for modern analytics tools and methodologies to create analytics products that facilitate business decision-making.
• Assist business units in developing analytics roadmaps that encompass personnel, processes, and technology.
• Aid in the creation, upkeep, and reliability of datasets for enterprise programs, reports, research endeavors, and analytic assessments.
• Keep abreast of advancements at the crossroads of science, technology, and business, driving innovation through analytics.
• Enhance the organization’s analytics capability and foster a culture centered around insights and analytics.
• Forge connections within Blue Cross NC and the broader analytics community to attract and nurture talent.
• Spearhead analytics projects across various digital platforms, customer experiences, surveys, process enhancements, association reporting, NPS analytics, scorecards, IT operational reporting, AI integration dashboards, and executive performance reporting.
• Specify data needs, enhance data quality, and amalgamate digital, customer experience, survey, and operational data sources into scalable analytics solutions.
• Direct analysts, engineers, and scientists in converting complex data into dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and actionable insights.
• Balance multiple strategic, operational reporting, and ad hoc tasks while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Cultivate partnerships across business and technology teams, aligning leaders around data-driven decision-making.
• Counsel senior leaders by transforming business obstacles into data-informed strategies, requirements, and prioritized analytics solutions.
• Provide executive-level insights through dashboards, performance reporting, and data storytelling.
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree when necessary.
• 8+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• In the absence of a degree, 10+ years of experience in a related area.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, and incident management platforms.
• Experience utilizing data and analytics reporting tools to generate insights, track performance, and support operational decision-making.
• Familiarity with integrating AI and generative AI capabilities into analytics, reporting, and workflow optimization is preferred.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives across digital channels, customer experiences, surveys, process enhancements, association reporting, NPS analytics, scorecards, IT operational reporting, AI adoption dashboards, and executive performance reporting.
• Capability to define data requirements, enhance data quality, and merge multiple data sources into scalable analytics solutions.
• Ability to lead teams of analysts, engineers, and scientists.
• Competence in managing multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Outstanding communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in the healthcare industry and a solid understanding of healthcare operations, member experience, and performance measurement is preferred.
