This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging, modification, and delivery of data products tailored for commercial and end-user applications.
• Convert detailed business requirements and functional specifications for both internal and external clients.
• Offer services that fulfill the needs of internal and external clients.
• Enhance processes that influence customer satisfaction and client relations.
• Anticipate and evaluate technology trends, assessing the impact of emerging technologies on the business landscape.
• Deliver solutions to both technology-related and business challenges.
• Provide corporate functional leadership.
• Manage staff recruitment, goal setting, performance appraisal, professional development, and daily coaching.
• Take ownership of support and requirements gathering for Availity data products while leading a team.
• Collaborate with the Platform team and Product Architecture to refine processes and elevate code output quality.
• Remove duplicate designs and advocate for solutions that minimize or eliminate technical debt.
• Ensure that development efforts positively impact customer satisfaction and relationships.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and product-delivery organizational design, offering effective solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of pertinent technical and business experience in data analytics and/or within a healthcare setting.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL.
• Capability to initiate and deliver multiple concurrent IT projects within specified timelines and budgets.
• Comprehension of data modeling, relational databases, data structures, and design principles.
• Strong skills in relationship management and collaboration.
• Ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external clients and vendors.
• Flexibility and a readiness to adapt to change.
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
• Proven ability to lead both large and small groups through requirements planning processes.
• Extensive knowledge of one or more information technology processes or services.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
• Excellent judgment and proficient problem-resolution abilities.
• Skill in balancing multiple and conflicting demands.
• Successful completion of a drug test is required prior to starting employment.
• Must fulfill U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements; sponsorship in any form is not available.
• Camera use is mandatory for all virtual meetings.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the healthcare industry and healthcare data.
• Preferred: Experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based applications using AWS.
• Preferred: Experience with IBM Cognos and Amazon Quick Suite.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS Redshift and/or AWS S3/Athena.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
