Manager, AI Agents and Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete development cycle of the AI platform and customer interactions, from planning to implementation.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to create prompt strategies, evaluation metrics, and safeguards while managing latency, costs, and accuracy.

• Facilitate the translation of technical ideas between engineering and the wider organization.

• Set up best practices and standards for the AI platform.

• Enhance answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through experimental approaches.

• Work alongside OpenAI partners to assess and implement next-generation voice models and workflow automation.

• Take ownership of the roadmap and strategic direction for customer-oriented AI, including voicebots, computer-use agents, and consumer AI applications.

• Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical capacity such as forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or a similar role within a dynamic startup environment.

• Strong interest and curiosity about AI systems, particularly modern large language models (LLMs).

• Proven ability to transform complex, strategic concepts into scalable, production-ready products.

• Experience in API design and system architecture.

• Proficiency in SQL and the capability to utilize data for answering questions and validating hypotheses.

• Skill in designing prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.

• Capacity to navigate technical trade-offs and establish AI platform standards.

• Must reside in an eligible location: designated U.S. states or Ontario, Canada.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.
