This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversees and manages payroll processing to guarantee timely and accurate employee payments.
• Supervises customer billing activities, including invoicing and payment applications.
• Directs accounts receivable management, focusing on collections and follow-up with customer accounts.
• Processes and administers software licensing agreements, which encompass new customer orders, renewals, upgrades, and contract modifications.
• Collaborates across departments to ensure precise order entry and effective customer account management.
• Monitors outstanding receivables and takes proactive measures to minimize aging balances.
• Maintains precise customer, contract, and billing records in company systems.
• Ensures adherence to operational processes and identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Assists with month-end closing activities related to payroll, billing, accounts receivable, and revenue management.
• Generates routine reports concerning billing, collections, renewals, and operational performance.
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for accounting and revenue-related functions.
• Trains and supervises accounting operations staff as necessary.
• Supports special projects and initiatives focused on process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline (such as Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field).
• Over 5 years of experience in payroll, billing, accounts receivable, collections, customer contract administration, or comparable accounting operations roles, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Strong comprehension of business operations, billing procedures, and revenue administration.
• Experience in managing software licensing, subscription renewals, contracts, or recurring revenue processes is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate skill level) and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), as well as accounting, CRM, and billing software applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
