This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Support the daily accounts-related functions of the Finance Department
• Generate monthly group management accounts from the trial balance
• Perform monthly reconciliations of all control account balances
• Create overhead accruals and prepayments for all entities
• Accurately process monthly group recharges
• Serve as a finance business partner to operational and departmental leaders
• Offer financial insights, challenges, and support for effective decision-making
• Deliver financial analysis, KPIs, and commentary to departmental managers
• Aid in coordinating, preparing, and consolidating the annual budget process
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns for approval
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary information
• Analyze project expenditures and relay findings to project managers
• Assist the Financial Controller with overhead analysis using Excel
• Support the year-end audit and conduct annual work-in-progress verification
• Complete ad hoc project tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller
• Ensure timely and precise financial accounts and reporting in line with accounting standards and Group policies
• Assist with budgets and cash flow management, highlight risks, and promote effective financial resource utilization
• Perform additional duties as required by the Senior Management Team
• CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification
• Proven experience in business partnering with non-financial stakeholders
• Experience in supporting annual budgeting and in-year forecasting/reforecasting processes
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with Word and PowerPoint
• Established administrative experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to interpret financial data and convey findings clearly to non-financial audiences
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple workloads effectively
• Capacity to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain composure under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
• Applicants must be residing in the UK
• Familiarity with Sage products, particularly Sage Intacct (desirable)
