Major Project Travel Technician 3 – Temp Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Join a distinguished team of technicians engaged in a diverse array of projects, ranging from large-scale events to assisting utility clients and participating in refinery turnaround operations.

• Responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution systems, HVAC units, and/or OFA systems.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions both on Major Projects and within service centers.

• Apply mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW specifications.

• Interpret and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

• Uphold comprehensive knowledge of, adhere to, and advocate for safe working conditions in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and other essential regulations governing the safe operation of all equipment.

• Collaborate with a remote operations center to avert failures, assist in the design of proactive notifications to prevent issues, and ensure compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Over 8 years of experience working with power generators, conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

• Electrical Generating System Association technician certification or other relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficient in using metering devices and instruments, including multi-meters, amp meters, and hygrometers.

• Depending on customer requirements, you may need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card, valid DOT medical card, and a valid driver's license.

• Capable of moving or lifting objects typically weighing less than 75 lbs.
