This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of significant donors and prospects who can contribute $10,000 or more through effective cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and management of relationships.
• Create and execute strategic fundraising plans aimed at enhancing donor engagement and fostering long-term philanthropic growth.
• Establish and nurture relationships with donors, prospects, volunteers, board members, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Major Gifts, the Development team, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America on donor engagement strategies.
• Draft donor proposals, stewardship reports, briefing documents, and personalized communications for donors.
• Monitor donor activities and maintain precise records in Salesforce and other fundraising systems.
• Identify, assess, cultivate, and manage new major gift prospects.
• Work alongside internal teams to arrange donor visits, cultivation opportunities, and fundraising events.
• Represent Planned Parenthood of Florida at donor meetings, events, and community gatherings across Florida.
• Support organizational fundraising initiatives that align with Planned Parenthood’s mission, values, equity, and inclusion.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education on a year-for-year basis.
• Three to five years of experience in portfolio management and/or direct donor relationship management is required.
• Proven track record in cultivating, soliciting, and securing five- and six-figure gifts.
• Experience in developing donor strategies based on best practices in moves management.
• Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience in qualifying prospective donors through research and relationship cultivation.
• Proficient in using donor databases or CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Florida as needed.
• Deep understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and Planned Parenthood’s mission.
• Strong dedication to the organization’s mission and values.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Capacity to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work across various departments.
• Flexibility to travel throughout Florida as required by business needs.
