This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• The position of Major Events Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Major Event Operations.
• This role is responsible for supporting operations and logistics for major events by managing and executing events of various sizes and types.
• The individual will take ownership of assigned client relationships from an operational perspective, serving as the main point of contact for all operational issues throughout the event lifecycle.
• By leading client and internal operational meetings, this person will utilize independent judgment to address issues and make timely decisions related to events.
• The Major Events Operations Manager will represent Degy in a professional manner at every interaction, while fostering and maintaining strong rapport and trust with clients.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in live event management, with a proven track record of providing onsite logistical support, managing tour advances, production logistics, and vendor & artist hospitality.
• Must be confident, outgoing, organized, and process-oriented, possessing strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
• Capability to independently manage client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for events, including facilitating meetings and representing the organization.
• Comfort with technology, including internet usage, social media, Zoom, Teams, and Office/Microsoft365.
• Must be able to pass an NCIC FBI Background check.
• Must hold a valid and current Real ID and/or U.S. Passport.
• A current driver's license registered in a U.S. state is required, along with the ability to travel independently.
• Due to the nature of live events, the candidate must meet the physical demands necessary to support clients on-site and be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may involve varying climates.
