This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Driving revenue growth within your territory by selling to new clients using the Akamai Portfolio
• Establishing and nurturing high-level strategic partnerships and reseller relationships
• Effectively communicating Akamai's value proposition to build trust with C-Level executives and corporate decision-makers
• Creating a strategic sales plan to develop and manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful implementation
• Leading collaborations across field marketing, sales representatives, and resources to ensure a consultative approach with customers
• Overseeing contract negotiations to guarantee customer satisfaction and the adoption of Akamai technologies
• Understanding of internet performance
• Knowledge of internet security
• Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Proven track record in successful sales within SaaS, IaaS, and solutions
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partner relationships
• Experience in selling through channel partners
