
Maintenance Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment.
β’ Execute preventive maintenance activities (such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting components).
β’ Replace worn or damaged parts prior to failure.
β’ Address plumbing issues including leaks, clogged drains, and fixture replacements.
β’ Perform minor electrical repairs on light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
β’ Repair doors, locks, windows, and basic structural elements.
β’ Patch and paint walls as necessary.
β’ Maintain tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment in good condition.
β’ Report significant equipment failures for specialized repair services.
β’ Ensure the proper storage and handling of tools.
β’ Maintain outdoor spaces (including mowing, trimming, and snow removal).
β’ Keep walkways and entrances safe and unobstructed.
β’ Carry out seasonal maintenance responsibilities.
β’ Perform general cleaning of maintenance areas.
β’ Properly dispose of waste and debris.
β’ Assist with deep cleaning or emergency cleanup efforts.
β’ Previous experience in maintenance is preferred.
β’ Ability to adhere to basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
β’ Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
β’ Must be available for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
β’ This position may have physical demands, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
β’ This role may also require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
