This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities (such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting components).
• Replace worn or damaged parts prior to failure.
• Address plumbing issues including leaks, clogged drains, and fixture replacements.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, and basic structural elements.
• Patch and paint walls as necessary.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment in good condition.
• Report significant equipment failures for specialized repair services.
• Ensure the proper storage and handling of tools.
• Maintain outdoor spaces (including mowing, trimming, and snow removal).
• Keep walkways and entrances safe and unobstructed.
• Carry out seasonal maintenance responsibilities.
• Perform general cleaning of maintenance areas.
• Properly dispose of waste and debris.
• Assist with deep cleaning or emergency cleanup efforts.
• Previous experience in maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• This position may have physical demands, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• This role may also require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
