Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and related systems.

• Repair fire systems, tube systems, nurse call systems, infant abduction systems, life safety components, paging systems, medical gas systems, locks, and doors.

• Execute repairs based on work orders or verbal instructions and document completed tasks.

• Identify and request necessary parts and components for assigned tasks.

• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and factory representatives concerning equipment repair and replacement.

• Assist contractors and personnel with connections and shut-offs for water and fire systems.

• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.

• Replace light bulbs, change ballasts, and install light fixtures.

• Undertake carpentry and minor construction projects.

• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including debris removal, heavy lifting, material movement, floor sweeping, and material storage.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience.

• Capability to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and related systems.

• Basic skills in plumbing and electrical repairs.

• Proficiency in appliance repair.

• Skills in carpentry and minor construction.

• Ability to repair or install drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile, cabinetry, countertops, shelving, and perform painting tasks.

• Capacity to frequently lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 0–25 lbs.

• Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25–50 lbs.

• Maintain constant alertness and work safely.

• No professional license or certification is required.
