Maintenance Specialist – Machine Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the optimal performance of industrial machines by inspecting and maintaining various machine tools and production equipment.

• Anticipate and prevent issues before they arise, ensuring that equipment remains safe, dependable, and prepared for operation.

• Employ mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical issues promptly and accurately.

• Offer expert advice, training, and support to both customers and team members.

• Keep precise service records utilizing digital tools, guaranteeing all relevant parties have the required information.

• Foster strong collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues to achieve common objectives and deliver outstanding results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in machine tool and/or industrial maintenance, with proficiency in both manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, press brakes, and metrology equipment.

• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

• If selected for the position, you will be required to relocate to the Portsmouth, NH area, with Phillips offering substantial financial support for your move.

• Experience with PLC and control systems, including the ability to read, troubleshoot, and edit ladder logic across various PLCs such as Siemens Step 7, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell-Collins, and Heidenhain.

• Military experience or background in a regulated environment is advantageous.

• You must be a US citizen to meet customer requirements for consideration.
