Maintenance Manager, Southern Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with developing and enhancing the department, ensuring quality assurance and standardization of all technical and safety-related processes.

• You will supervise multiple hotels in Southern Europe, guaranteeing they are maintained to exceptional standards.

• You will manage technical building services at hotel and workplace locations, oversee the optimization of their maintenance, and plan necessary repair work.

• You will serve as the primary contact for our hotel technicians: training them, organizing training sessions, and reviewing and optimizing operational and facility management procedures.

• You will ensure that maintenance work, repairs, and new installations are performed efficiently, punctually, and to the required specifications.

• You will monitor adherence to relevant laws, regulations, rules, inspection deadlines, and occupational health and safety standards.

• You will assist in drafting service contracts, reviewing contract terms, obtaining quotes, and managing claims with insurance companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed training in building services or technical building systems.

• Several years of professional experience in a similar capacity; ideally, you have also managed properties internationally.

• Willingness to travel frequently and be comfortable on the road.

• Strong knowledge of building services as well as control and measurement technology.

• Professional demeanor; loyalty and integrity come naturally to you.

• Capable of independently and creatively solving problems while considering commercial aspects.

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and a structured, organized approach to work that keeps you on top of your responsibilities.

• Very good written and spoken English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
