Maintenance Controller – Overnight Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Providing 24/7 on-call maintenance coordination and supervision for five assigned aircraft within the Part 135 Charter Fleet.

• Offering maintenance support to flight crews while they are on the road through phone, text, and email communications.

• Engaging with maintenance vendors remotely via phone, text, and email to facilitate the return of aircraft to service.

• Assisting the Director of Maintenance with scheduling and planning for maintenance activities.

• Aiding in the execution of both onsite and remote vendor audits.

• Demonstrating flexibility by working extended hours and accommodating short-notice schedule changes.

• Proficiently speaking, reading, and writing in English.

• Performing in a role that can be physically demanding at times.

• Successfully completing a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and background check.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a comparable role.

• A&P Certification is preferred.

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• No certificate actions have occurred since the interview date.

• No misdemeanors or felonies have been recorded since the interview date.

• Capability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend technical procedures and governmental regulations, sometimes under pressure or in emergency situations.

• Competence in effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from management, dispatch, crew, air traffic control, and the general public.

• Ability to communicate clearly in English, including the ability to issue shouted verbal commands during emergencies.
