Mainframe Infrastructure Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and construction of enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems under direct supervision.

• Provide support for cloud services, network infrastructure, databases, storage solutions, computing platforms, and middleware technologies.

• Aid in automation, monitoring, and optimization to guarantee infrastructure availability and performance.

• Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate new technologies and enhance infrastructure standards and processes.

• Troubleshoot basic technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.

• Ensure compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance.

• Deliver technical support for infrastructure-related tasks and smaller projects.

• Take part in infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.

• Analyze infrastructure systems and processes, making minor modifications to resolve issues.

• Acquire technical fundamentals while assisting with infrastructure operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Fundamental understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies and processes.

• Fluency in the English language is required.

• An advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred.

• Entry-level or previous internship experience in supporting infrastructure initiatives within organizational environments is preferred.
