Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead and provide support for Endevor (as well as other SCMs) in DBB/GIT/IDD migration initiatives.

• Execute installation, configuration, and problem resolution for DBB/GIT/IDD on client systems.

• Analyze, convert, and validate applications related to Endevor.

• Offer technical assistance and troubleshoot issues associated with DBB/GIT/IDD.

• Facilitate customer training sessions and create presentation materials for DBB/Git/IDD and migration methodologies.

• Work in conjunction with IBM teams and client stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

• Record migration procedures, best practices, and technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background in z/OS and mainframe technologies.

• Experience in application development or systems programming.

• Demonstrated skills in customer interaction and troubleshooting within migration settings.

• Established experience in installation and migration on IBM z/OS.

• Proficient in Groovy Scripts, YAML, GIT, Repositories, and Pipeline.

• Capability to conduct DBB/Git/IDD training sessions.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience).

• Over 8 years of experience as a Systems Programmer or in a similar role.

• More than 4 years of experience in customer-facing consulting positions.
