Mainframe Developer – COBOL, DB2, Medios de Pago

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Technical analysis and active participation in Mainframe migration projects within the Payment Media sector.

• Development and maintenance of applications in a Mainframe environment.

• Programming and upkeep of components in COBOL.

• Management and utilization of DB2 databases.

• Usage and maintenance of JCL and batch processes.

• Collaboration with functional and technical teams in the banking sector.

• Impact analysis, incident resolution, and technical support during migrations.

• Technical documentation of developments and changes made.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer / Technical Analyst in Mainframe.

• Strong knowledge and proven experience in: COBOL.

• DB2.

• JCL.

• Host / Mainframe environment.

• Essential experience in Payment Media within the banking sector.

• Experience in Mainframe migration projects (highly valued).

• Analytical skills, autonomy, and a focus on quality.

• Experience in critical banking environments.
