Mainframe Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, test, debug, deploy, and maintain enterprise mainframe applications

• Investigate application problems and rectify defects

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Work collaboratively with both business and technical stakeholders

• Engage in implementation activities

• Lead and guide offshore development teams

• Contribute to initiatives for application modernization and ongoing improvement

• Offer production support, troubleshooting, and post-deployment stabilization

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS

• Experience in developing enterprise mainframe applications

• Proficient in application development, testing, debugging, and deployment

• Background in production support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues

• Experience supporting UAT and addressing defects

• Knowledge of production implementation and post-deployment stabilization

• Experience in leading or mentoring offshore development teams

• Proven collaboration experience with business and technical stakeholders

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with large enterprise environments

• Preferred experience with healthcare applications, workflows, and claims adjudication
