Magento Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain modules and extensions for Magento 2.

• Create scalable backend solutions utilizing PHP 8.x while adhering to Magento coding standards.

• Work with Dependency Injection, Plugins, Observers, Events, Service Contracts, Repositories, Factories, and Extension Attributes.

• Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, which include custom queries, mutations, and resolvers.

• Enhance MySQL/MariaDB performance, Magento indexing, caching, Varnish, Redis, and overall application efficiency.

• Conduct Magento upgrades, apply security patches, and manage Composer dependencies.

• Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, shipping solutions, ERP, CRM, and marketplaces.

• Utilize Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

• Diagnose complex technical issues and address performance bottlenecks.

• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Provide mentorship to junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in Magento 2 development.

• Proficient in PHP 8.x.

• In-depth understanding of the Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce architecture.

• Experience in developing custom modules and extensions.

• Strong knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Solid experience with MySQL/MariaDB and SQL optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with Redis, Varnish, FPC, and Magento Indexers.

• Proficient in Composer, Git, and Docker.

• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.

• Experience with Magento upgrades and the implementation of security patches.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• A current and verifiable Adobe Commerce Developer Certification is required.
