Machine Learning Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage scalable backend services for a media intelligence platform.

• Lead architectural choices regarding APIs, processing pipelines, distributed computing, storage, and search functionalities.

• Work closely with engineering leadership to establish the backend architecture.

• Create distributed, event-driven workflows for media processing tasks.

• Enhance AI/ML inference workflows to improve latency, throughput, reliability, and cost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical knowledge.

• 5-7+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably in developing scalable distributed systems, media platforms, data pipelines, or high-throughput backend services.

• At least 3 years of experience in integrating AI/ML inference systems within backend workflows.

• Proficient in Python and/or Node.js.

• Familiarity with the HuggingFace transformers ecosystem and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
