This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement ML models to detect missing data, forecast treatment delays, prioritize high-risk referrals, and assess payer/patient friction.
• Design and sustain LLM-driven workflows.
• Construct and manage data pipelines to gather, cleanse, label, and store data across various systems.
• Establish success metrics, track model performance over time, and make rapid iterations to enhance accuracy and reliability. Organize training data, data labeling workflows, or feedback loops for model enhancement.
• Work in collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams to pinpoint high-impact automation opportunities and integrate models into workflows.
• Over 6 years of experience in ML engineering, data science, or applied AI roles (healthcare experience is a plus).
• Proficient in Python (including Pandas, Scikit-learn, LangChain, PyTorch or TensorFlow) and SQL.
• Extensive experience in building and deploying models within production settings.
• Familiarity with LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector search technologies (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).
• Expertise in handling unstructured data such as OCR, NLP, and document/form understanding.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), Git, and fundamental DevOps practices.
• Comfortable collaborating with product and operations teams to address real-world business challenges.
• Experience working with healthcare data (EMR/EHR, insurance claims, HL7/FHIR).
• Experience in developing patient or payer-facing AI solutions in regulated environments (HIPAA compliance).
