This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist with M&A integration programs from start to finish.
• Facilitate the execution of intricate, cross-functional M&A integration projects, from planning before closing to stabilizing post-merger, as part of the Integration Management Office — including project planning, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, resource allocation, and decision documentation.
• Responsible for results, not merely tasks.
• Serve as a reliable partner to our clients.
• Establish strong connections with deal teams, integration management offices, functional integration teams, and executive sponsors.
• Provide strategic insights and practical execution to support clients in managing the complexities of integration — and actively engage in resolving these challenges.
• Implement changes that make a tangible impact.
• Design and implement change management and communication strategies that focus on the human aspect of M&A — including cultural integration, organizational redesign, and workforce transitions.
• Look beyond the plan — identify barriers to adoption and address them head-on.
• Cultivate the development of your colleagues.
• Guide and supervise junior team members, offering direct, actionable feedback and making a meaningful investment in their professional growth.
• Contribute to the advancement of nepf.
• Over 6 years of client-facing consulting experience, with significant involvement in M&A integration projects, especially from due diligence to post-closing.
• Proven track record of delivery throughout the M&A lifecycle — including pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration.
• Experience overseeing complex, cross-functional integration workstreams within large organizations (5,000+ employees).
• Strong change management experience — you have led organizations through substantial transitions resulting from M&A, rather than just producing documented plans.
• Familiarity with global or multi-geographical M&A settings involving cross-border integration challenges.
• A clear and confident communicator — you excel in writing, delivering credible presentations, reading social cues, and building robust client relationships.
• Yearly Performance bonus: up to 10%
• 401(k): Employer match — 100% on the first 3%, 50% on the next 2%
• Time off: 20 days PTO + at least 10 Paid Holidays + 6 Paid Sick Days
• Health: PPO Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long-Term Disability
• Flexibility: Digital first, fully remote — no mandatory commute or office days
• Mentorship: Direct access to consulting leaders with Big 4 and top-firm backgrounds
• Growth: Monthly check-ins and twice-yearly reviews with clear, transparent criteria
• Team: Annual company retreat and regular team events
