MA Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Perform culturally sensitive and high-quality virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions.

• Execute biopsychosocial assessments that prioritize holistic care along with precise diagnostic evaluations.

• Interact with patients via our collaborative portal.

• Work in partnership with supervisors, colleagues, and on-campus treatment providers.

• Maintain documentation of clinical encounters to ensure effective coordination of care.

• Collaborate with our care navigation team to assist students.

• Partner with campus care teams to develop long-term treatment strategies when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in MA. Having multi-state licensure is a plus, as we serve all 50 states.

• Have over 1 year of experience in an outpatient community mental health environment.

• Proficient in addressing common mental health issues prevalent among college students, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

• Familiar with culturally responsive care and experienced with diverse patient populations.

• Comfortable evaluating the urgency of escalating risk situations.

• Must have a high-quality video camera and a reliable internet connection for virtual consultations.
