M365 Engineer – Teams

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work in collaboration with architects, network engineers, and security experts to strategize, test, and design M365 services.

• Implement Microsoft-endorsed architecture, design principles, and industry best practices to enhance reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

• Deliver comprehensive service and operational support for Microsoft 365 services.

• Spearhead troubleshooting efforts for intricate incidents involving end-users and/or various infrastructure teams.

• Oversee and resolve IT support tickets promptly.

• Evaluate M365 product updates and determine their impact.

• Aid in managing business relationships among internal teams, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure delivery of managed services.

• Develop technical documentation for recommendations and create end-user job aids.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and runbooks for managed services.

• Keep customers informed about operational status, progress on deliverables, upcoming changes, and scheduled outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to obtain DHS EOD clearance.

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, Associate's degree with 12 years of experience, or a total of 16 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in designing solutions and architecture using Microsoft 365.

• Strong practical experience with Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating ideas and gathering feedback from cross-functional team members and stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with the implementation, deployment, migration, and support of core M365 services.

• Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice and Conferencing is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio is a plus.

• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate certification.

• Experience with Azure Cloud, scripting, and automation.
