LPG Carrier, 2nd Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the effective operation and upkeep of the engine room and associated machinery.

• Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing daily operations within the engine room.

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of the main engine, auxiliary systems, and other equipment.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

• Direct watchkeeping in the engine room and supervise the engine crew.

• Demonstrated experience in a multicultural work environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum experience requirement: 8 months in the same Rank on a comparable vessel.

• Required experience with engine model: M/E: Sulzer 7RT-flex84T-D.

• Familiarity with oil product cargo operations is essential.

• Experience in trading areas such as the USA and Australia is preferred.
