This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform field inspections to evaluate crop damage and confirm loss conditions in line with RMA and MPCI standards.
• Gather and document planting records, production history, and tangible evidence of loss.
• Accurately complete and submit claim documentation within specified deadlines.
• Engage with policyholders and agents to clarify findings, collect information, and address discrepancies.
• Utilize approved adjusting tools and software to calculate indemnities and finalize claims.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of various crop types, farming methods, and regional agricultural conditions.
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing education programs.
• Work in conjunction with claims leadership and QA personnel during evaluations and reviews, including TPER and TPEP processes.
• Follow company policies and ethical standards while representing AgCentric in the field.
• Carry out additional loss adjusting duties and projects as assigned.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in crop insurance claims.
• Required: CAPP – Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program accreditation.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Familiarity with MPCI loss adjustment procedures and guidelines.
• Experience in field inspection and crop damage assessment.
• Understanding of crop appraisal methodologies and documentation.
• Strong communication skills with policyholders and agents.
• Proficiency in adjusting software and mobile inspection tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to RMA and carrier standards.
• Awareness of regional crop types and agricultural practices.
• Skills in measurement techniques and evidence collection.
• Capability in data analysis and reporting.
