This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Interpret and apply federal and state Medicaid regulations, statutes, and policies relevant to long-term care.
• Analyze provider records across various accounting software platforms to pinpoint discrepancies.
• Identify improper payments, including those arising from inaccurate payments, collections issues, and coordination of benefits.
• Act as the main liaison for assigned long-term care providers, ensuring effective and consistent communication.
• Manage a caseload exceeding 30 in various stages of completion.
• Prepare and present provider reports while maintaining ongoing communication throughout the audit process.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, or an Associate’s degree accompanied by five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet or exceed revenue and audit objectives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal teams and long-term care providers.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow directions as necessary.
