Long Term Care Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Promoting education, accessibility, and adoption of Neurocrine products in post-acute and long-term care environments.

• Advanced account management to engage and influence various stakeholders.

• Establish and align connections between external prescribers, internal facility stakeholders, and LTC pharmacies.

• Overcome clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement challenges.

• Foster product acceptance and drive sales through educational initiatives in targeted accounts.

• Successfully implement sales strategies and marketing plans.

• Cultivate strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.

• Identify specific opportunities and challenges within the territory.

• Manage relationships with key customers and advocacy organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly preferred.

• Experience with Long Term Care or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly desired.

• Background in Psychiatry, Neurology, or antipsychotic treatment is highly favored.

• Strong sales and account management capabilities, coupled with excellent business acumen and outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Proven track record of sales success and achievement of goals, including recognition or awards in specialty pharma or biotech.

• Demonstrated ability to launch products in complex and competitive markets.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks.

• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in fast-paced or start-up environments.

• Must reside within the assigned territory and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
