Logistics/Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for hardware, components, and operational equipment, from sourcing and purchase orders through to delivery.

• Ensure precise inventory records, asset tracking, and stock planning to guarantee the availability of essential components at all times.

• Manage domestic and international shipments, customs, import/export documentation, taxes, duties, and logistics partnerships.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing when appropriate, and proactively follow up on orders and deliveries.

• Monitor procurement costs, transportation expenses, and vendor performance, providing accurate reports and insights to leadership.

• Enhance and refine procurement, inventory, and logistics processes to support the company's rapid expansion.

• Ensure all logistical and procurement administrative tasks are executed with precision, including documentation, invoices, shipping records, and compliance.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and external vendors to ensure a seamless supply chain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or operations management.

• Experience in managing international procurement and logistics within a dynamic technology, manufacturing, hardware, or related environment.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, supplier management, shipping processes, customs, import/export regulations, and cost monitoring.

• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Comfortable collaborating across functions with Engineering, Finance, and external vendors.

• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.

• Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, or procurement systems is highly advantageous.

• Proficient in English.

• Proactive, hands-on problem solver with a passion for creating efficient operational processes.

• Ability to foresee supply chain challenges before they escalate into obstacles.

• Methodical operator with strong accountability and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
