Logistics Performance Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of accountability for customer relationships, ensuring weekly communication to maintain a solid understanding of the account status.

• Lead and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, develop account strategies, and nurture long-term relationship health.

• Track performance and financial metrics utilizing available technology to ensure that BG meets customer expectations and internal KPIs.

• Recognize logistics trends and risks; proactively identify and manage retention and churn risks in collaboration with the Managed Logistics team.

• Oversee projects specific to accounts and assess/communicate the ROI and value delivered.

• Collaborate with Operations to ensure that any systemic service, billing, or delivery issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.

• Elevate critical client issues to leadership and ensure follow-up until resolution.

• Coordinate efforts across internal BlueGrace departments to maintain efficient functioning of the client's account.

• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the supply chain field or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• 7-10 years or more of experience in operational transportation solutions, with a proven track record in continuous improvement consulting, expanding account scope and revenue, as well as freight/transportation purchasing.

• Experience with big box retail companies is an advantage.

• Sales experience is a plus.

• Strong presentation skills, capable of speaking effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of the organization.

• Proficient in analyzing transportation data to provide clear and meaningful metrics.

• Ability to creatively problem-solve and develop solutions that meet customer needs.

• Experience working with TMS systems is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.
