This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan, organize, and oversee the inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries, ensuring they remain on schedule.
• Develop and enhance transportation routes to guarantee timely deliveries and optimize resource usage.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate pricing, manage contracts, and cultivate effective relationships.
• Track shipment progress, provide stakeholders with timely updates, and address any delays, damages, or issues that may arise during transport.
• Assess and monitor transportation costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify opportunities for cost reductions.
• Supervise warehouse inventory levels, ensuring they correspond with company demand to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical assessments to ensure stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inconsistencies between physical inventory and system records (ERP/WMS data).
• Coordinate the receipt of inbound stock, ensuring proper and safe storage of products while managing warehouse operations.
• Work closely with sales, production, and purchasing teams to predict inventory requirements and plan for replenishment orders.
• Keep precise logs and records of all inventory movements, shipments, and orders.
• Prepare and maintain essential shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Ensure that all procedures comply with relevant industry regulations, export/import laws, and safety standards.
• Serve as a primary point of contact among suppliers, warehouses, internal departments (e.g., sales, production), and customers.
• Address customer inquiries regarding shipment statuses, delivery times, and issues promptly and professionally.
• Evaluate current supply chain and inventory processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and organization.
• Demonstrated work experience as an Inventory Coordinator or in a similar capacity within the Retail sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of inventory and supply chain processes.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Compliance with all WHS management system policies, procedures, and reasonable requests from management to promote WHS interests.
• Participation in any WHS training mandated by the WHS management system or upon management's request to ensure a safe workplace.
• Assurance that any licenses or qualifications necessary for safe work performance are current or that management is informed if they expire.
• Seeking guidance when necessary before undertaking any new or unfamiliar tasks.
• Proper maintenance of protective and safety equipment provided to mitigate risks in the workplace.
• Utilization of a documented risk management process to address WHS risks.
• Conducting work in a manner that is safe and healthy, ensuring no adverse effects on the health and safety of others.
