This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• The Executive Supply Chain Partner (ESCP) acts as a trusted advisor for our members (clients) who hold positions such as SVPs, EVPs, and CSCOs within Global 1000 organizations and government agencies.
• The primary responsibility of the ESCP is to engage each member-client, assisting them in identifying mission-critical priorities and key initiatives to achieve specific enterprise objectives.
• Collaborating with the member may involve activities like defining, developing, coaching, and critiquing strategies; aiding in the development and transformation of their organizations; providing guidance on vision and strategy execution; aggregating and conveying Gartner research insights on key initiatives, priorities, and implementations; and generally serving as a consigliore for the SVP, EVP, or CSCO.
• The ESCP manages relationships with up to 24 senior executive members and participates in account planning alongside CSMs and Senior Account Executives.
• Success is characterized by executing a seamless transition from the sales team, engaging the member consistently in meaningful discussions, crafting a complete member profile, accurately identifying the member’s agenda, developing an engagement (value) plan, taking part in quarterly account reviews, and organizing value-added member meetings.
• The ESCP is accountable for member retention and contributes to regional growth by directly supporting Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account planning, and demonstrating value.
• The ESCP aids research activities, such as facilitating member involvement in research studies or case panels.
• Define and deliver innovative solutions by evaluating client member needs and creating a tailored value plan aligned with the overall Gartner Supply Chain strategy and product deliverables.
• Build and maintain working relationships with various internal teams to develop a comprehensive and sustainable set of key deliverables for clients (including targeted research, personal coaching sessions, scripted analyst sessions, etc.).
• Direct and facilitate peer group calls and/or meetings for members.
• A university degree (Master's preferred) with over 10 years of experience in a senior management role, such as CSCO, SVP, EVP, or COO within a Supply Chain Executive capacity; or 5+ years in such a role alongside an additional 5+ years in another Supply Chain Executive position, such as a "Partner in Supply Chain Consulting."
• Comprehensive experience in End-to-End Supply Chain management.
• Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrate high levels of humility, and have the capability and experience to work with C-level executives.
• This individual should exhibit strong reflective listening skills and the ability to respond to client cues and needs effectively.
• A deep understanding of the Supply Chain industry and the role of the CSCO, including leadership, operations management, strategy and trends, and the use of metrics.
• Profound comprehension of the business value derived from Supply Chain and the alignment of Business and Supply Chain strategies.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to evaluate member situations and deliver actionable, outcome-based business advice, alongside the capacity to leverage relevant (Gartner and other) resources to assist clients in achieving business results.
• Capability to lead and manage ambiguous situations effectively.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Collaboration and team leadership skills.
• Experience in sales and/or business development or the ability to engage with CXO-level executives.
