This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identifies opportunities for process enhancements in Logistics through competitive analysis and critical thinking.
• Supports and/or leads strategic cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement.
• Creates business tools and solutions rooted in knowledge, product, or technology.
• Reviews and suggests enhancements for systems and software as necessary.
• Develops reports and performs ad hoc queries.
• Identifies and formulates business rules and standard operating procedures to optimize operational processes.
• Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
• Provides analysis for facility and capacity planning within distribution and transportation functions in Logistics.
• Conducts various analyses including time studies, rate analysis, network analysis, statistical analysis, flow path analysis, and supply chain analysis.
• Establishes metrics and key performance indicators for designated business units.
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• A degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering field is required.
• Experience with Six Sigma or other methodologies for process improvement is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Visio.
• Advanced skills in Mini-tab, Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Visio, Project, and specialized software as per the position's requirements.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Advanced skills in data modeling.
• Experience in finance, cost-benefit analysis, or capital budgeting is preferred.
