This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Conduct startup procedures, preventative maintenance, testing, repairs, and advanced electrical services on generator paralleling controls and switchgear systems.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels within the designated territory while addressing on-call service requirements (75% travel necessary).
• Provide assistance and training to internal technicians and external clients on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment testing.
• Work in conjunction with the Product Support Center help desk to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Aid dealer service and sales teams in the promotion of products and services.
• Generate daily service reports, weekly expense reports, and ensure timely maintenance of accurate project documentation.
• Stay updated on training for new and enhanced systems, technologies, and platforms.
• Collect feedback to pinpoint opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offerings.
• Assess manufacturing and production processes to identify defects and suggest design modifications to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Monitor, manage, and ensure the resolution of product quality and performance concerns.
• Clearly communicate technical specifications and service instructions to guarantee optimal product performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET); alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineers, contractors, consultants, and end users.
• Proficient knowledge of power systems, including switchgear, ATS, and generator systems, with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with automation and control systems, including PLC-based systems, HMIs, and distributed control systems.
• At least 2 years of related experience or 4 years of equivalent expertise.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to fulfill background, drug, and medical requirements.
