Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine the documents provided

• Precisely index essential information from the documents

• Adhere to the indexing standards given

• Notify a supervisor of any issues as needed

• Maintain a goal of processing a minimum of 35 documents each hour

• Capable of interpreting handwritten documents, including cursive writing

• Perform detailed analysis of documents for accurate classification and indexing

• Ensure a high level of accuracy while managing a considerable volume of documents within established timeframes

• Comply with set guidelines to ensure consistent and quality indexing

• Work collaboratively with team members and managers to achieve project deadlines

• Recognize and report any discrepancies or inconsistencies found in indexed documents

• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a sharp attention to detail

• Proficient in remote working, including effective team communication

• Ability to work independently while managing your time efficiently

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, data research, and document compilation

• Prior experience in document indexing is desirable

• Familiarity with data entry and land records is a plus

• Proficient in using Windows-based desktop applications

• Excellent organizational skills with a strong commitment to accuracy

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions

• A commitment to producing high-quality work

• Experience managing shipments from start to finish (A to Z)

• Capable of making phone calls to Shipping Lines / Forwarders / Brokers / Clients

• Knowledgeable in INCOTERMS (understands the differences between all incoterms)

• Familiar with the process of import/export for various modes of transport (Air/Sea/Land)

• Knowledgeable about Shipping Documents

• Experience with Magaya is an advantage

• Must have experience with CargoWise

• Light Bookkeeping experience is required

• Must have experience in Air, Ocean, and Freight shipping

• Experience in overseas shipping

• Prior experience working with Logistics Freight Forwarding companies
