Localization Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• The Project Manager is tasked with ensuring the effective planning, execution, tracking, delivery, and closure of client projects.

• Collaborating with the client to comprehend their requirements, the Project Manager engages the global team to meet these needs, developing client solutions based on Welocalize's Four Pillars: Customer Service, Quality, Innovation, and Global Teamwork.

• Responsibilities include project planning, scoping, gathering requirements, and validating them with the client.

• The role involves identifying and collaborating with relevant client and internal stakeholders to plan and resource projects effectively, focusing on quality, cost, and scheduling requirements.

• Conducting risk analysis and contingency planning using the plan-do-check-act cycle is essential.

• The Project Manager leads both internal and external teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of client projects.

• Responsibilities include creating schedules and monitoring delivery timelines.

• Managing the budget and controlling project costs are critical functions.

• Establishing and fostering relationships with customers, internal teams, and external suppliers is key.

• Overseeing project activities and ensuring issues are resolved through corrective and preventive actions is required.

• Actively seeking opportunities to enhance delivery, client satisfaction, quality, and profitability is expected.

• Reporting, both in written and verbal forms, to internal and external stakeholders regarding project scope, financials, progress, and status is necessary, both formally and on an ad-hoc basis as needed.

• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate finance systems is part of the role.

• Process documentation and knowledge management are essential tasks.

• The Project Manager must ensure project profitability is upheld through effective margin management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university in a related field is required.

• Demonstrated project management experience in a dynamic, client-focused environment, preferably within the translation or localization industry.

• Familiarity with the translation industry and a strong interest in its technology, processes, competitive landscape, and emerging trends are needed.

• Proven success in managing large accounts and/or projects is essential.

• A curious and creative mindset to question existing processes and innovate new solutions is important.

• Experience in developing processes and ideas is required.

• Financial management expertise and the ability to manage budgets effectively are necessary.

• Customer relationship management and business development skills to promote organic growth are essential.

• Willingness to travel for work-related commitments is required.

• A positive attitude and high energy, along with excellent interpersonal skills, are crucial.

• The ability to lead large, diverse, virtual teams is necessary.
