Localization and Data Collection Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, comprehending project needs and ensuring the successful execution of localization and data collection projects.

• Oversee projects from start to finish, guaranteeing compliance with timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and client expectations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including linguists, data collection participants, vendors, recruiters, QA specialists, and technical teams to facilitate seamless project operations.

• Organize and manage multilingual data collection initiatives, encompassing audio, video, image, transcription, annotation, and various AI-related data gathering tasks.

• Build and sustain robust client relationships, proactively resolving challenges and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Perform project evaluations and risk assessments, pinpointing potential challenges and executing effective mitigation strategies.

• Track project timelines, budgets, resources, and KPIs to ensure operational effectiveness and successful results.

• Ensure adherence to project guidelines, quality standards, confidentiality protocols, and data security measures.

• Remain updated on industry trends, localization technologies, AI data collection methodologies, and best practices to promote continuous enhancement.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Translation, International Relations, Business Administration, Project Management, Linguistics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Project Management within a Language Services Provider (LSP), localization firm, or data collection setting.

• Familiarity with managing AI data collection, annotation, transcription, or multilingual content projects is advantageous.

• Proficient in English and Spanish at an advanced level.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with project management and localization tools. Knowledge of Plunet, MemoQ, CAT tools, or data collection platforms is beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to quality.

• An analytical mindset with the capability to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
