This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Assist Loan Originators by prioritizing sales pipelines according to application statuses.
• Support Loan Originators with tasks related to completing the mortgage loan application (1003 Application), such as running AUS (Fannie Mae’s DU/DO, Freddie Mac’s LPA S2S, or USDA’s GUS) or importing data from credit reports.
• Generate initial disclosures for LO review in line with the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID) procedures and timelines.
• Collect documentation from borrowers as directed by LOs and the loan system; input document information into the loan system and submit it to wholesale lending organizations for conditional approval.
• Manage statuses and follow-up communications with mortgage service providers, including appraisers and title companies.
• Collaborate with wholesale lending underwriters to obtain conditional approval and clearance to close.
• Validate Final Closing Disclosure (Final CD) information and address any discrepancies or missing data prior to closing the loan file in our system.
• Implement a Closing Checklist to ensure all regulated and reportable information is captured in a loan file before finalizing it in our system.
• Run and distribute various reports on a regular basis.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives.
• Deliver prompt, warm, and memorable service.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mortgage loan processing or a related field.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in wholesale and TPO is not mandatory but is considered a plus!
