Loan Partner – Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Assist the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the administration and processing of mortgage loans to ensure efficient handling throughout all phases of the loan transaction.

• Support a growing team as it expands into Kentucky.

• Provide clerical assistance to the MLO.

• Conduct initial research necessary to evaluate mortgage eligibility.

• Schedule signing appointments.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.

• Prepare files for submission to the loan processing team.

• Update and manage the marketing database for new loans.

• Fulfill any other miscellaneous tasks required by the team.

• Assist the MLO with specific assignments to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the Loan Officer.

• Gather and analyze research related to the property, credit, and other relevant aspects of the file.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of loan structuring beyond mere administrative or order-out tasks.

• Experience with government loans (FHA, USDA), as well as conventional and VA loans.

• Ability to manage complex borrower scenarios, such as lower credit scores, multiple income sources, and gift funds.

• Knowledge and experience in administrative assistance, clerical duties, and customer service.

• Familiarity with the mortgage banking industry, including Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA mortgage products.

• Clear comprehension of current RESPA laws and guidelines.

• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team productivity.

• Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

• Proficient computer skills with a solid understanding of MS Office and the ability to use the loan origination system.

• Experience with Encompass is a plus.

• Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.

• Skills in teamwork, customer service, motivation, design, ethics, safety & security, project management, business acumen, and professionalism.
