This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Support attorneys in responding to interrogatories.
• Conduct client interviews and document their responses; collaborate with attorneys to finalize answers.
• Acquire, assess, and summarize medical records as directed by trial attorneys.
• Facilitate expert evaluations of medical records when necessary.
• Organize medical examinations.
• Aid attorneys in drafting motions and conducting legal research.
• Assist attorneys in interviewing witnesses both prior to and during trials as needed.
• Help attorneys prepare documents and evidence for trial.
• Execute other assigned tasks.
• Perform legal support tasks and research in accordance with the regulations of the State Bar.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• An Associate's Degree (2 years) OR 3 years of experience as a Paralegal is required.
• A Paralegal certificate or a degree in paralegal studies, or completion of at least one year of law school is necessary.
• A year of experience in a civil litigation law firm is preferred.
• Experience with Washington Discovery/Civil Litigation is required.
• A Paralegal certificate from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program is preferred.
• Capability to operate a computer continuously for extended periods, up to a full work shift.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged durations, up to a full work shift.
• Capacity to occasionally move, lift, carry, and position objects weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
