Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Operate both autonomously and as part of a team to oversee all stages of intricate litigation, encompassing case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

• Conduct and defend depositions, draft and present substantive motions, manage oral arguments, and provide support during trials in both state and federal courts.

• Manage cases from their inception to resolution, ensuring thorough case development, risk evaluation, and effective client communication throughout the process.

• Participate in court appearances, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related events as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in managing all facets of defense litigation within the hospitality sector (ideally hotels or managed properties), premises liability, general liability, business/commercial litigation, or a similar field.

• Preference for candidates with trial and arbitration experience.

• Proven experience in handling litigation matters in both federal and state courts.

• Must be admitted to practice law in Texas.

• Must reside in or around the Houston or Dallas metropolitan area and be available for in-person court appearances and litigation events as required.
