This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
β’ Litigation Oversight: Manage all aspects of litigation from the beginning of the case to trial, encompassing the formulation of case strategies, discovery, and negotiation of settlements.
β’ Client Engagement: Consult with clients to comprehend their legal challenges, offer legal guidance, and devise effective strategies.
β’ Court Advocacy: Represent clients during court hearings, trials, and arbitration sessions, ensuring top-notch advocacy throughout.
β’ Legal Analysis: Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to shape case strategies and bolster legal arguments.
β’ Legal Document Preparation: Draft a range of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring they are clear, concise, and persuasive.
β’ Trial Readiness: Work alongside paralegals and support personnel to assemble trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions.
β’ Case Evaluation: Assess cases, pinpoint issues, and offer recommendations for optimal courses of action.
β’ Client Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates on case progress and developments.
β’ Educational Background: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
β’ Licensing Credentials: Licensed to practice law with a solid grasp of state and federal litigation processes.
β’ Professional Experience: At least 10 years of litigation experience, with a particular focus on personal injury or employment law cases.
β’ Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and courtroom abilities, along with strong legal writing skills.
β’ Trial Proficiency: Demonstrated trial experience with the capability to assertively advocate for clients in high-pressure situations.
β’ Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an acute attention to detail.
