Literacy Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual high-dosage tutoring to students from Kindergarten to 8th grade

• Acquire skills to teach a structured phonics curriculum

• Assist students in a one-on-one or small group format within a virtual environment

• Monitor and document the progress of students' reading skills

• Oversee a caseload of students while fostering strong relationships

• Adhere to a tutoring schedule that aligns with the academic calendar

• Cultivate a passion for reading and learning among the students served

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent such as a GED

• Must reside within the contiguous U.S., Hawaii, or Alaska and have authorization to work in the U.S.

• Pass an online comprehensive background check

• Have access to a computer equipped with a Chrome browser, as well as a functioning microphone and camera

• Your internet connection should support a minimum of 25 megabytes per second for both download and upload speeds
