This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and ongoing development of the Linux-based infrastructure.

• Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support.

• Manage and monitor IoT/edge devices within the hospital network.

• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, and VLANs.

• Handle patching and update management for servers and embedded systems.

• Document system configurations, processes, and modifications.

• Collaborate with development teams on deployment and infrastructure-related topics.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Linux system administration.

• Strong knowledge of managing Debian-/Ubuntu-based systems.

• Experience with networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.

• Skilled in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible.

• Experience with IoT devices or embedded Linux systems.

• Understanding of IT security principles and system hardening techniques.

• Organized, self-reliant work style with a commitment to documentation.
