
Linux DevOps Engineer – Germany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Join a team of 35 engineers who are enthusiastic about sensor technology, embedded systems, critical infrastructure, and fleet management.
• Collaborate with your team to fulfill the following responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI-driven applications and deploy models directly onto drone detection devices.
• Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and enhance them for swift and secure deployments.
• Optimize the reliability, performance, and security of systems.
• Ensure systems function reliably in offline mode.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Monitor systems, resolve incidents, and continually improve observability.
• If desired, assist field teams in collecting sensor data on-site in Berlin or other locations across Europe, and validate technology during field trials.
• EU citizenship: Due to security protocols for this role, you must possess citizenship of an EU member state.
• Residence in Germany: You are registered in a city within Germany and hold a German tax ID.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT (e.g., engineering).
• At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or MLOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of the embedded Linux ecosystem.
• Experience in writing Bash scripts.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
• Expert understanding of CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Practical experience with sensors or other hardware.
• Proficient in German and fluent in English; any additional language is an advantage.
• Comfortable working within the defense sector.
