Lighting Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• The Lighting Technician will be tasked with delivering services to both existing and new lighting project clients of the company.

• Complete the outlined scope of work for each project within the timelines established by the Crew Leader and Regional Manager.

• Comply with all company quality and safety protocols while on site.

• Install lamps, ballasts, lighting fixtures, wiring, and power sources.

• Load and unload materials, ladders, and various equipment.

• Follow directives from the Crew Leader.

• Operate lifts safely, exercising extreme caution to avoid damaging any property at client locations.

• Promptly report any damages to the Crew Leader concerning the client's property, Lightserve property, and/or vehicles.

• Maintain caution and prioritize safety when working in client environments.

• Perform minor construction tasks as necessary.

• Palletize and shrink wrap recycling materials for pickup.

• Responsible for cleaning up any scraps, trash, and miscellaneous lighting materials from sales floors and warehouses before leaving the site each day.

• Recognize various lighting technologies, sensor installations, exit sign installations, and egress lighting.

• Remove personal trash from the company vehicle after completing a job run.

• Perform additional job duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required.

• Lift and Bucket Truck certifications are necessary, or completion of these certifications must be achieved within an agreed timeframe.

• Ability to read maps and schedules, use GPS, and adhere to established route schedules.

• Must be capable of driving for extended periods.

• Willingness to travel for up to 15 days at a time across the US.

• Valid Driver’s License is mandatory.

• 1-2 years of experience in lighting or electrical work is preferred.
